This week’s student success stories include job placements at Safestyle UK, Dynamic Creative Agency, and Footasylum. There have also been a total of 49 exam bookings this week, including a growing number of students moving up the CompTIA certifications ladder which is great to see.
Exam Successes
Congratulations to Shazia who has passed her PRINCE2® Foundation exam. We wish you the best of luck for your Practitioner.
Well done to Matt who has passed his PRINCE2® Agile exam – a great achievement.
Manuel has passed his PMP exam, well done!
Mark is now certified with the CompTIA A+ and Brent has just passed his CompTIA Network+. It’s so great to see more and more students getting their IT certifications.
Career Progress
This week we wanted to give a special mention to graduate Thomas. Thomas came to us back in 2018 after suffering an injury in his prior role as a scaffolder. He enrolled onto our coding bootcamp and found a passion for coding. After working closely with Marisha at Career Services to land his first role as a junior developer in 2019. He’s now made the move up the career ladder, working with Marisha once again to secure a new role as an Applications Developer.
It’s really great to see Thomas grow in his career, even after his course completion. Remember, our careers support will always extend beyond the license period: we’re committed to helping all of our students find career success.
Well done to Artem who has landed a new role as a Senior Technical Manager and congratulations to Nicholas who has secured a role as a First Line Support on a rolling contract. Siobhán has also secured a role as a Technical Business Analyst and Daryl has found a new role as a Client Technical Analyst.
Well done to Elisha who has been offered a role as a Service Desk Analyst at the company she currently works at.
Marloes has accepted an offer as the UK & EU Operations Manager for a logistics and consultancy firm. She interviewed with them a couple of weeks ago for a role which she was overqualified for, but when this new opportunity came up, they went straight to Marloes to offer her the role.
And finally, a career change into code has proven successful for former chef Francisco: he’s now accepted a role as a Web Developer for a leading creative agency. Congratulations!
