Another group of students have achieved some fantastic exam passes and landed some great work placements, including roles at Amazon, Protiviti and Signum Health Ltd.
Exam successes
Our students are working extremely hard and 63 exams have been booked this week.
We’ve seen some brilliant results recently, starting with Phil and Noemi, who have both passed their Network+ exams. Fred has also passed the Network+ and is now working with the Career Services team to plan his next steps.
Gavin passed his A+ 1002 so is now A+ certified – congratulations, Gavin!
Well done to Oksana and Gareth, who have both passed the A+ 1001 exam.
Congratulations to Conor, who has passed his Security+ exam.
Great work, Richard, who has passed his PMP, and Joanna, who has passed her PRINCE2® Agile exam. And well done to James, who is also now a certified Agile Practitioner.
And finally, congratulations to Jan, who has just passed her ISTQB (CTFL), and to Martin, who has passed his PenTest+ exam.
Career progression
Peter, who is based in Ireland and has his own electrical business, got his PMP 2 weeks ago and since advertising this on LinkedIn has had lots of interest, with 4 interviews lined up for next week. But he’ll be cancelling them all as he’s already accepted an offer and will be joining Cosgrove Electrical as a Project Manager – starting Monday! Best of luck, Peter, we’re in awe of your quick work.
Before he’s even reached the end of his course, Kamil has been offered a job at Amazon as an IT Support technician. He’s continuing to fly through his certifications and has passed his A+ 1001 and 1002 exams and his Network+. He has been very complimentary too, saying he couldn’t have done it without us. We’re wishing you all the best in your new role, Kamil!
Congratulations to Olivia, who has received two job offers and accepted a role as a Product Marketing Specialist at Linney Agency. She comes from a marketing background and wanted to combine her previous experience with Project Management, and she has completed her PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certifications and is currently studying for her Agile qualification. Linney were so keen to hire Olivia she was practically able to write her own job description and title!
Barney has secured a job with Protiviti as a Technology Consultant, which is essentially the same as a Junior PenTester, as that’s the team he will be joining. Barney is a musician by profession and has just completed his S+ certification.
Good luck to George, who is starting a new role as an IT Support Technician for the local schools in his area, having passed his A+ Core 1001 and 1002.
And last but not least, Katie has already started as a Project Support Officer at Signum Health Ltd. Katie worked with the Career Services team and got as far as Phase 2 but clearly didn’t need any Phase 3 help – well done, Katie!
