  • In Australia, Software Developers earn $85,000–$105,000 AUD, Full-stack Developer roles average between $110,000-$130,000, and Software Engineers $100,000-$120,000+.

  • In New Zealand, Software Developer roles earn between $90,000-$110,000, Full-stack Developer roles average between $105,000-$120,000, and Software Engineers $105,000-$125,000+.

  • Considering the average full-time salary in Australia is about $104,520 a year - and $103,300 in New Zealand - salaries in software development consistently sit above the national average in both countries.
