Is 30 too old for a career switch to business analytics?

30 is absolutely not too old to start a career in business analytics. Many of the students we support into business analysis careers are older than 30 when they first talk to us.

There is huge demand for skilled business analysis professionals in Australia and New Zealand, and this demand is growing quickly due to advancements in AI. Employers will be looking for hard skills, certifications, and soft skills such as analytical thinking when assessing candidates for business analyst roles; they will not be concerned if the applicant is older than 30 years old.

30 is absolutely not too old to start a career in business analytics. Many of the students we support into business analysis careers are older than 30 when they first talk to us.

Can I learn business analytics in 3 months?

Technically, yes, you can learn the fundamentals of business analytics in three months and start applying for entry-level jobs. The BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis course takes two weeks to complete if you study full-time, or two months if you study part-time. This course teaches you the core concepts and principles needed to start applying at the entry level.

Can I do business analytics courses online and become qualified?

Yes, you can study for business analytics qualifications completely online.
