Cyber Security salary trends overview 2026:

Cybersecurity continues to be one of the most in-demand and well-compensated fields in the tech sector across Australia and New Zealand.
Salaries are continuing to increase in 2026, with Cybersecurity Analysts being paid on average between $100,000 and $120,000 per annum in Australia, and $65,000 and $85,000 in New Zealand.
In terms of the best-paid roles,Cybersecurity Architects are among the highest paying IT and tech roles in Australia and New Zealand. Their average salary ranges from $170,000 to $180,000 in New Zealand, and $170,000 to $175,000 in Australia.
