How do I choose an IT course?

The best IT course for you will depend on your career goals and your current level of experience in the field.

  • If you’re just starting your IT career, or you're looking to switch careers from a completely different background, it’s best to start with entry-level or foundational courses, such as the CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Network+. This course is designed to build your core technical skills and understanding of key IT concepts.
  • If you already have some experience in IT, and want to take the next step in your career, you might be ready for more advanced certifications like CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or Azure Fundamentals AZ-900, depending on your specialism and long-term goals.
  • If you have a specific role in mind, such as Cybersecurity Analyst, Network Engineer, or a Cloud Architect, you'll likely need a carefully curated pathway of IT courses to help you land your dream job.

These are just a few examples of the courses you could take, depending on your experience level and goals.

With the number of cyber attacks growing and becoming increasingly sophisticated, and developments in AI transforming the cloud computing landscape, the demand for certified IT professionals is at an all-time high.

This illustrates the power of vocational qualifications to help you stand out in the IT job market.

Whether you’re navigating the world of IT for the first time or you're looking to progress your career and build on existing experience, we have the online courses and expertise you need.
