Who are The UK Cyber Security Council?
The UK Cyber Security Council (UKCSC) is the chartered body for cyber security in the UK meaning it's considered the trusted voice on cyber security within industry, government and academia. It sets the national standards for the professional cyber industry and its practitioners.
What does the UK Cyber Security Council do?
The purpose of the UK Cyber Security Council is to support the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Strategy to make the UK the safest place to live and work online. They do this by leveraging all available expertise, relevant standards and guidance to deliver practical advice to cyber institutions and practitioners. In addition to supporting national strategies, they work to develop recognised professional cyber security career pathways.
Other members of the UKCSC include companies such as Microsoft, BT, Vodafone and the Office for Nuclear Regulation, among many others.
