2022 Student Success Update | Monday October 17

Welcome to the Learning People Student Success update for the week commencing 17 October 2022 – our regular weekly round-up previewing a selection of up-to-the-minute successes, including exams sat, certifications gained, interviews attended, and new positions attained.

Project Management

Nicole has recently started with National Highways as Assistant Project Manager, after being the UK Programme Coordinator for 2 years for the very admirable organisation Bike the UK for MS. Nicole is our second student this month to receive a Project Manager position with National Highways.

Kate joins Arena Flowers as their Production Operations Manager where she will be responsible for implementing large-scale projects to change the culture and drive the overall performance of the business.

Kehinde has been offered a job as Project Associate with ING Building Services and Alona joins Specialist Aviation Services as a Project Officer.

IT and Cyber Security

Antonio joins Renful Premier Technologies in a Software Support role now completing his career change from being an Electrical Technician.

Shaf has made an internal switch after working in retail banking at Santander for 12 years, he is now moving to a Cyber Project Manager / Portfolio Analyst. He offered to do one day a week of work experience but the Head of Cyber encouraged him to apply for jobs internally and he secured this role. He now has the opportunity to have an experienced mentor and learn Project Management alongside the technical Cyber side of things.

Ed starts a new role as an Information Security Officer. But can’t tell us the company name yet – for Cyber Security reasons…

Bradley starts a new contract as a Specialist Web3 Front End Engineer with FinTech organisation BeBop.

Joshua has joined Code Institute as a Tutor, where he will have a balance between teaching other students how to use Python and JS projects, having 2 days for self-teaching and 1 day of direct programming experience with the Code Institute’s Dev team, building their student platform.

A huge congratulations to all of our students on their well-deserved success and progression – from all of us at Learning People.
