Established in 1989, PRINCE2® is seen as the de facto standard of project management throughout the UK and is used by the Government. The PRINCE2® methodology is often used in the public sector, offering process based best practice guidance on project management. PRINCE2® focuses on business justification, defined organisation structures, product based planning approaches, implementing stages and a degree of flexibility appropriate for the level of the project.
