IT Foundations
This certification (often aligned with frameworks like ITIL 4) introduces the core concepts of IT Service Management (ITSM). It focuses on how IT teams create, deliver, and support technically enabled products through a "Service Value System." Rather than focusing on hardware, it teaches you the professional "language" of IT—covering guiding principles, governance, and the best practices used to align digital services with business goals.
Network+ is the industry standard for establishing a career in infrastructure, covering the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of both wired and wireless networks. You will learn the OSI model, TCP/IP protocols, and essential networking hardware. By the end of this course, you’ll understand how to secure a network and maintain the "pipes" that allow data to flow between devices and the cloud.
While many certifications focus on a single provider, Cloud+ is vendor-neutral, meaning it teaches you the skills to maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure regardless of the platform. The curriculum delves into cloud architecture, security, and disaster recovery. It is highly practical, focusing on the "hands-on" reality of managing multi-cloud environments, automation, and performance tuning to keep business operations running smoothly.
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
This course provides a foundational entry point into the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. It covers core cloud concepts—such as High Availability, Scalability, and Agility—and introduces the specific services Azure uses to provide them, such as Azure Virtual Machines, SQL Databases, and App Services. It also gives you a firm grasp of Azure’s pricing models, security features, and governance tools.
AWS Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02)
Similar to Azure Fundamentals but focused on Amazon Web Services (AWS), this certification validates an overall understanding of the AWS Cloud platform. It covers the basic global infrastructure, the Shared Responsibility Model for security, and core services like EC2 (compute), S3 (storage), and RDS (databases). It is designed to prove you can identify the right AWS tools for specific business cases and understand the economics of the AWS billing system.

Microsoft Azure Fundamentals exam (AZ-900) Exam
- Multiple-choice and multi-response questions, drag-and-drop, and potentially case studies.
- Between 40 and 60 questions.
- Approximately 60 minutes for the exam itself, with an additional 15-30 minutes for pre-exam setup (identity verification, checking surroundings) and a post-exam survey. The total allocated time can be around 85 minutes.
- A minimum score of 700 out of 1000 is required to pass. While this generally translates to about 70%, it's a scaled score, meaning the exact percentage of correct answers needed can vary slightly based on the difficulty of the specific questions you receive.
AWS Cloud Practitioner Exam
- 65 questions, consisting of either multiple-choice (one correct answer) or multiple-response (two or more correct answers out of five or more options).
- 50 questions
- 90 minutes
- A scaled score of 700 out of 1000 is required to pass. This is approximately 70%.
