Tell us about yourself and the courses that you took.
Hi, my name is Lewis, and I studied PMI's project management professional certification, as I wanted to advance my career in project management.
Why did you first reach out to Learning People?
I found the Learning People following a Google search when looking for a provider for the particular course that I wished to take. After speaking to a couple of different facilitators, the Learning People quickly stood out with excellent customer service, quick responses, and thorough detail.
How was your initial consultation call?
The initial consultation was fantastic. When I reached out to the Learning People initially, I was seeking out a slightly different course; however, following discussion around my current and previous project management experience with my particular goals for career progression, I was guided onto the PMP course with a clear picture of how that would fit in. It was an excellent move, and I'm thankful for the guidance provided.
How was your online learning experience?
I really enjoyed the online learning experience. Working around my current busy role, as well as parenthood, the self-paced nature was extremely useful.
The platform itself was very easy to navigate, all content resources were easily accessed, the course was very easy to track, and the online support was thorough and quick to respond.

How has enrolling with Learning People impacted your career development?
Enrolling with Learning People has had an extremely positive impact on my career development, and the effects were almost immediate. Studying for the PMP while actively working in a project management role allowed me to leverage my existing skills and experience, while also acquiring new skills that I could apply in the field right away. The transferable skills I gained directly contributed to my career progression, leading me to my current position as a General Manager. This knowledge has also enabled me to assist aspiring project managers within the organisation more efficiently and thoroughly.
What's been the best part of your learning journey?
Project management is truly a profession in which you never stop learning, and I thoroughly enjoy the entire learning experience. Being able to build on my existing skills, gain new knowledge, and apply what I've learned in real-time has been highly rewarding.
What would you say to someone considering enrolling with Learning People?
Don't hesitate. It's one of the best decisions that I've made. Every member of the Learning People team that I came into contact with was incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and able to offer guidance on the courses available. The support truly was second to none.

Absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, the investment was 100% worth it.
