Tell us about yourself and the courses that you took

Hi, my name is Omotayo. I studied project management with Learning People, completing my qualifications including ABC Scrum Master, AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner, Change Management, and of course, the APM Project Management Qualification, all part of my project management learning pathway.

Why did you first reach out to Learning People?

I already had experience across engineering, business analysis and project delivery. So I had that existing technical background. But I wanted to formalise that experience and build a stronger foundation in recognised project management approaches. And so I was looking for qualifications that would help me become more competitive when applying for project management roles.

What has been your favourite part of your journey? 

The best part for me, uh, has been being able to apply what I was learning directly to my work. Although it is very satisfying to complete each qualification and see my confidence build over time. It made the whole journey feel like genuine career progression, rather than only studying for, um, certificates. It's been an amazing journey which I'm constantly so grateful for.

You get the most out of it when you actively connect the learning to your own career goals and real work experience. 

Has it been worth the investment?

Definitely. For me, it has been worth the investment. Now that I have moved into that next stage in my career, I can clearly see a return on the time and effort I have put into the program. And now that I've made that transition, I can look back and say the investment was clearly worthwhile.
