Hi, my name is Subhan Iqbal, and I studied the project management pathway with the Learning People.
I'd been in a job in purchasing,  which I really didn't like. I'd given project management a shot before, but  I didn't give it long enough. It was only
six months I was in the job before thinking I need to go elsewhere. I did regret that, and I really wanted to go back into that. I realised that when I was applying for jobs in project management, again, my experience was lacking, unfortunately, because I needed 1 to 2 years, and I couldn't obviously get that without getting a job.
But the other thing they were looking for was certifications. So that's why I reached out to the Learning People, because they were providing a project management course, a project management pathway.
It was really lovely. She asked me, you know, what my journey is, where I am. And they give you almost a bespoke plan, somewhat to understand,  okay, what are the best qualifications, in their opinion anyway, because obviously quite experienced in this, that will give you the best chance of getting the job that you want in the sector that you want. They definitely had the expertise I needed, and they gave me a lot of confidence as well in this, in this sort of program.
So I really appreciated it. For me, the flexibility that it gave, the fact that I could do it at my own pace, and it wasn't really any rush to finish anything. That really helped.

If someone's thinking about enrolling with the Learning People, 100% do it.

I was probably in your shoes at the moment, where I was thinking, it's a bit of a hefty investment. You know, I had all these thoughts, probably similar to what you're having, but trust me when I say the investment is worth it. The people there will take care of you, and the education is top-notch. The qualifications you'll get will help you throughout your career development.

It's quite cliché, but genuinely the whole thing.  I loved the people that I was working with when it came to Career Services, for example. Sophi was really nice. She was always checking up. The education, obviously, was really enjoyable. I enjoyed learning about project management and the methodologies.
The career services, the interview preparations that they helped you with, you know, moulding your CV, all of that was so smooth and so enjoyable throughout. So honestly, I would say the entire thing. But if you had to push me, then I would say passing my exams. Yeah.

What advice do you have for people considering enrolling?

If someone's thinking about enrolling with the  Learning People, 100% do it. And the reason I say that is because I speak from experience.  Experience in the sense that I was probably in your shoes at the moment, where I was thinking, it's a bit of a hefty investment. You know, I had all these thoughts, probably similar to what you're having, but trust me when I say the investment is worth it. The people there will take care of you, and the education is top-notch. The qualifications you'll  get will help you throughout your career development.
100% worth the investment. I'm pretty sure you'd make that money back within your first wage. It may feel a little bit, I don't know- it might hurt you a little bit in the short term because it does feel like a hefty about money at the trust me,  you will make it back. So it's well worth the investment.
