Learning People is an approved Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) learning provider and supports lifelong learning and resettlement for members of the Armed Forces.
For Armed Forces personnel, choosing an ELC-approved learning provider ensures that the training or education meets the required standards and is recognised by the MOD. It allows you to access funding to support your professional development and transition into civilian careers after military service.

ELCAS Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme FAQs
There are two tiers of funding. £1,000, and for those with eight years or more of service, up to £2,000 per annum.
Only service accumulated since 1st April 2000 may be counted as eligible service, for the purpose of the ELC Scheme.
You can make one claim per financial year (three claims in total).

You must complete an online claim and submit this to your Education Staff a minimum of 25 working days prior to your course start date.
Upon receipt of your Claim Authorisation Note (CAN) from the Education Staff, you must present it to Learning People, and we will register you for the course.
Please read this document before submitting a claim to your Single Service Representative. Once eligible, you may submit a claim for up to five years (if you left on or after 1st April 2016), or up to ten years (if you left before 1st April 2016) after you leave the service. Please read JSP 822 for the expiration date of your claims, particularly for those service leavers who were medically discharged.
