Edward Caesar-Parker Testimonial | Kickstarting his career in Data

Explore Edward's inspiring journey and discover how Learning People's Cyber courses helped him successfully change careers.

After feeling overwhelmed by the process of researching cyber security courses, Ed found and enrolled in our Certified Ethical Hacker pathway. Since enrolling, Ed has earned his CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ certifications and is now working towards gaining more qualifications. He has also transitioned within Sky from his previous role as a Broadband Technical Expert to his new position as an Insider Risk Analyst.

I would not have got where I am today without the learning that I got from Learning People.

The extra sessions with helping with my CVs and cover letters have helped massively, and it's made me successful in finding a new role.

My name is Ed Caesar Parker, and I am currently studying the certified ethical hacker pathway.
Trying to research learning materials or courses for cyber security, it was a minefield and it can be quite overwhelming, but learning people made that easy for me and clear to understand.
My initial career consultation was on my terms. There was no pressure. Everything was explained and I was given the written information to go through at my pace.

So the online experience was quick and easy to pick up. It was my portal into learning how I could how I could learn and set it up my way. The support was always there for tutors and advice whenever I needed it.
The best part was just finding out and knowing that I could do it. My big worry was that I couldn't do anything like this, and the Learning People has helped and made me comfortable with doing my journey and learning. And that's just been the best part.

What advice do you have for someone considering enrolling?

Yes, 100% it's been worth the investment. My regret is I didn't do it sooner. I've got myself a new position, but I am continuing my learning to gain more knowledge and to better myself. So it has been worth the investment 100%.
