Meet Alex Cheney, our new CEO
Exciting announcements from Learning People HQ from our new CEO, Alex Cheney. We sat down with him to dig into the details of the future of the company, what changes are coming and how this impacts our students. Watch the full video to learn about his five-pillar plan to expand markets, make employment and education more accessible, and introduce new tech to help students on their journeys.
I have collaborated with Alex for many years; together, we have brought back a majority share of Learning People from private equity investors to realise our vision for the company's future. A guiding aim for us is to bring back Learning People to its original ethos of being a people-centred business that makes tech and project management education accessible to all.
A note from Mark Wheatland, our Head of Education...
"What is particularly exciting about this is how it will improve the service we can offer our students: more investment in our student support and career services offerings, more variety in course content, more routes to learning, better global coverage, and consequently, more people moving into careers they love."
This also means saying a heartfelt goodbye to previous CEO Nick Hayles - an enormous thank you on behalf of the whole Learning People team for his hard work and dedication.
With this being a personal investment in the company and its future, Alex has a genuine belief in and enthusiasm for what Learning People is and what it could be moving forward.
As we enter this new era, we have taken this chance to look back at how the business has developed and improved over the past 16 years, to ensure that our students have an outstanding experience with us:
